This is my contribution to Read an E-Book Week, running from 8th to 14th of March, 2009. I designed this poster a couple of months ago, when I started to stare at e-books and e-publishing as a chance to make my dreams come true. Thinking of reasons e-books are still not accepted by mainstream readers, I’ve found that it’s not because of e-books any more. It’s because of readers. And their emotional devotion to the way paper book demonstrates its presence: smell of print ink, swish of paper and inconvenience of use.
If you like this idea, feel free to use it and pass to anybody, who thinks that in an e-book there is already more “book” than “e”.
